The Sanyo SR-A2480M Compact Refrigerator is a mini fridge that measures roughly 18 X 18 X 24 inches.  This puts this unit in the mid-range of size when compared to other compact refrigerators.  It is small enough to fit in a variety of spaces such as under a desk or almost anywhere in a dorm room.  This Sanyo mini fridge is also capable of holding a decent amount of items compared to other compact fridges.  This makes it a nice addition for any dorm or office as long as you don’t plan on using it as a primary refrigerator that is meant to hold massive amounts of food.  The door can dispenser is especially nice for grabbing a quick beverage.  The Sanyo SR-A2480M Compact Refrigerator gives an adaptable unit for those of us that are looking for a nice unit to keep us going in a tight space.

Another excellent characteristic of the Sanyo SR-A2480M Compact Refrigerator is that it keeps your food very cold.  The factory setting of 3.5 is easily cold enough to keep your food extremely cold.  A freezer is also in place if you want to freeze some vegetables or something similar.  The only problem with the freezer is that it is fairly small, so don’t expect to keep too much in there.  The Sanyo mini fridge gets cold quickly and stays cold.  Opening and closing the door frequently doesn’t seem to affect the interior temperature very much either.  We didn’t see a large shift in the temperature when the door was consistently opened to pull items from the mini fridge.  The Sanyo SR-A2480M Compact Refrigerator is one of the better units we have seen in the coldness department.

 

The Sanyo SR-A2480M Compact Refrigerator also does a good job at running quietly.  When the compressor kicks on, you may hear a slight hum, but it is very quiet.  You pretty much have to standing on top of the thing to hear it.  If you have ever heard a loud fridge, you will know how important it is to have a quiet compact fridge like the Sanyo mini fridge.  In an office setting, it is very disturbing trying to get some work done and constantly hearing a loud noise when a fridge kicks on.  The Sanyo SR-A2480M Compact Refrigerator ensures that this isn’t a problem in your office.

“Gets cold, cold enough to freeze the veggies we stuck in there! whoops~ be sure to crank up the coldness slowly!  It looks very nice. Love the stainless steel look.  Got it for my gf when she went to college and it worked fine and now sits in my parent’s garage keeping beer cold.  For an extra 20-30$ over the cheaper mini fridges, this thing will last longer.
